This <br />amount represents funds in six different federal programs. <br /> <br />· Accept in FY06 budget $2,014 in the School Fund. $514 is recovered <br />costs for services provided and $1,500 is a grant from ODU involving <br />discipline. <br /> <br />· Accept in FY06 budget $975 in the Cafeteria Fund. This IS <br />reimbursement for the work done with the football banquet. <br /> <br />· Accept in FY06 budget $297 in the Meals Tax fund. This amount <br />represents a reimbursement for work done at the high school. <br /> <br />· Accept in FY06 budget $48,825 in the General Fund. $20,975 is <br />reimbursements for overtime in the Police department from various <br />grants or state agencies. $27,850 is reimbursement from the <br />Commonwealth for improvements at the Armory. <br /> <br />Dan Collins, City Manager, reminded everyone of Jerry Brock's upcoming <br /> <br />retirement and that plans are being made for several activities. Also, his <br /> <br />position will be advertised internally this week. The Planner position is again <br /> <br />being advertised in publications in North Carolina and Virginia. The budget <br /> <br />process is proceeding, but there are still questions concerning the state budget <br />
