<br />{"';' <br /> <br />'..J <br /> <br />August 23, 2005 <br /> <br />discussing the following matters: A personnel matter as authorized by <br /> <br />Subsection 1, Appointments to Boards and Commissions as authorized by <br /> <br />Subsection 1 and Consultation with legal counsel pertaining to specific legal <br /> <br />matters requiring the provision of legal advice by counsel as authorized by <br /> <br />Subsection 7. <br /> <br />At the conclusion of this Closed Session, each returning member of <br /> <br />Council certified that (1) only public business matters exempt from open <br /> <br />meeting requirements were discussed in said Closed Session; and (2) only <br /> <br />those business matters identified in the motion convening the Closed Session <br /> <br />were heard, discussed, or considered during said Session. Upon returning to <br /> <br />Open Session, Council took the following action: <br /> <br />Council Member Roop moved to re-appoint Julie Bryant and Matthew <br /> <br />Johnson, students, to one-year terms on the Transportation Safety <br /> <br />Commission ending June 30, 2005; the motion was duly seconded and carried <br /> <br />by the following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - O. Yeas (5) - Cobbe, <br /> <br />Reynolds, Roop, Ferrill, Clark. Nays (0) - None. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before Council during their <br /> <br />regular meeting, upon motion by Council Member Ferrill, duly seconded, by <br /> <br />unanimous vote, Mayor Cobbe declared the meeting adjourned at 9:45 P.
