<br />A. 1. Council Member Roop moved to appoint Lance Heater, of
<br />1219 Lanier Road, to a four-year term on the Blue Ridge Regional
<br />Library Board ending June 30, 2009; the motion was duly seconded
<br />and carried by the following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5-
<br />0; Yeas (5) - Clark, Cobbe, Ferrill, Reynolds, Roop; Nays (0) -
<br />None.
<br />A. 2. Council Member Ferrill moved to reappoint Rayford B.
<br />Smith, of 1108 Knollwood Place, to a five-year term on the Board of
<br />Appeals ending May 11, 2010; the motion was duly seconded and
<br />carried by the following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0;
<br />Yeas (5) - Clark, Cobbe, Ferrill, Reynolds, Roop; Nays (0) - None.
<br />A. 3. Vice Mayor Reynolds moved to appoint Sandra Dechard, of
<br />1610 Mulberry Road, and William Moore, of 508 Mulberry Road, to
<br />two-year terms on the Martinsville Architectural Review Board
<br />ending March 31, 2007; the motion was duly seconded and carried
<br />by the following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5)
<br />- Clark, Cobbe, Ferrill, Reynolds, Roop; Nays (0) - None.
<br />A. 4. Council Member Roop moved to reappoint James Barnett, of
<br />1318 Root Trail, to a three-year term on the Martinsville-Henry
<br />County Economic Development Corporation ending June 30, 2008;
<br />the motion was duly seconded and carried by the following vote,
<br />with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Clark, Cobbe,
<br />Ferrill, Reynolds, Roop; Nays (0) - None.

<br />720 Prospect Hill Drive, to a two-year term on the Martinsville Tree
<br />Board ending March 31, 2007; the motion was duly seconded and
<br />carried by the following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0;
<br />Yeas (5) - Clark, Cobbe, Ferrill, Reynolds, Roop; Nays (0) - None.
<br />A. 6. Council Member Ferrill moved to appoint Debra L. Poirier, of
<br />1810 Spruce Street, #105, to a three-year term on the Piedmont
<br />Regional Community Services Board ending June 30, 2008; the
<br />motion was duly seconded and carried by the following vote, with
<br />all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Clark, Cobbe, Ferrill,
<br />Reynolds, Roop; Nays (0) - None.
