Mechanical Code - Fire Protection System 1. For issuing each permit $40.00 In addition: For installation of fire protection systems, $2.00 per each $1000 of cost or fraction thereof above $5000. Sec. 4.2 Re-inspection and Miscellaneous Fees Re-inspection fees may be made for each trip when extra inspections are necessary due to any of the following reasons: wrong address; condemned work due to faulty construction repairs or corrections not made when inspector is called; or work not ready for inspection when inspector is called. a. The contractor shall be charged $25.00 for each re-inspection. b. For working without a permit a charge of $50.00 will apply. c. For a Certificate of Occupancy a charge of $25.00 will apply. d. For a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy a charge of $25.00 will apply. ARTICLE V. VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES Sec. 5.1 Separate Offenses Any Person who shall refuse, fail, or neglect to comply with the provisions of this ordinance or with any of the requirements thereof shall, unless otherwise provided, be guilty of a separate offense for each and every day, or portion thereof, during which any violation of any of the provisions of this ordinance is committed, continued or permitted, and upon conviction of any violation of any of the provisions of the ordinance, such person shall be punished by a fine of not more than ($500) for each offense or by imprisonment for not more than six months for each offense, or by both such fine and imprisonment. ARTICLE VI. VALIDITY AND SEPARABILITY Sec. 6.1 Established If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phase of this ordinance is for any reason held to be unconstitutional or invalid by competent authority, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions.
