by the negligence of such person or by any other inadequate work done either by him or his <br />agent or employees and that such person will maintain in a safe condition for a period of one (1) <br />year all ditches and excavations which may be opened in the performance of such work, and <br />further that all dirt and other material excavated will be replaced in good condition with similar <br />materials. <br /> <br />Sec. 4.4 Contractor's Liability Insurance <br /> <br />Any person who desires to engage in the business of building, plumbing, electrical or mechanical <br />contractor in the City shall present to the Building Official satisfactory evidence of contractor's <br />liability insurance in the amount of $50,000 for bodily injury and $50,000 for property damage. <br /> <br />ARTICLE VI. PERMIT AND REINSPECTION FEES <br /> <br />Sec 6.1 Permit Fees <br /> <br />No permit shall be valid until the fees proscribed shall have been paid, or shall any <br />amendment to a permit be approved until the additional fees, if any, shall have been paid. The <br />permit fee schedule shall be as follows: <br /> <br />A. Building Code <br /> <br /> 1. New residential construction, ;cents 8 cents per square foot of floor area, including <br /> basement floor area. <br /> <br /> New residential modular units, ~ !~ cents 8 cents per square foot of floor area, <br /> including basement floor area. <br /> <br /> Minimum fee $!9.00 $40.00 per unit. <br /> <br />2.
