by the negligence of such person or by any other inadequate work done either by him or his agent or employees and that such person will maintain in a safe condition for a period of one (1) year all ditches and excavations which may be opened in the performance of such work, and further that all dirt and other material excavated will be replaced in good condition with similar materials. Sec. 4.4 Contractor's Liability Insurance Any person who desires to engage in the business of building, plumbing, electrical or mechanical contractor in the City shall present to the Building Official satisfactory evidence of contractor's liability insurance in the amount of $50,000 for bodily injury and $50,000 for property damage. ARTICLE VI. PERMIT AND REINSPECTION FEES Sec 6.1 Permit Fees No permit shall be valid until the fees proscribed shall have been paid, or shall any amendment to a permit be approved until the additional fees, if any, shall have been paid.
