ARTICLE II. ORGANIZATION <br /> <br />Sec. 2.1 Inspection Division <br /> <br />There shall be maintained in the Department of ........... ks Commumty Development a <br />Division of Inspection, which shall be under the direct supervision of an employee of the <br />department referred to as the Building Official. <br /> <br />Sec. 2.2 Personnel Appointments <br /> <br />The Building Official shall be appointed by the Director of P:;3!:.c !T~.r~s Community <br />Development. The Building Official may appoint such assistant as provided for in the annual <br />budget, with the approval of the Director of P::b!ic T~.~ris Community Development. <br /> <br />Sec. 2.3 Qualifications of Personnel <br /> <br />The qualifications of the Building Official and assistants shall meet the minimum <br />requirements of Sections ~ 104.0 and 105.0 of the USBC. <br /> <br />ARTICLE II! EXAM!,~L~.T!ON£ A <br /> <br />ARTICLE IV. LICENSING AND BONDS <br /> <br />Sec. 4.1 Licensing <br /> <br />Every person who desires to engage in the business of building, plumbing, electrical or <br />mechanical contractor in the City r must be license by the Department of Professional and <br />Occupational Regulation Board of Contractors. He must also be licensed by the Commissioner of <br />the Revenue and must have paid the license tax required. <br /> <br />Sec. 4.3 Indemnity Bond <br /> <br />In addition to the license required above, any person who desires to engage in the <br />business of a building, plumbing, electrical or mechanical contractor in the City shall first obtain <br />and deposit with the City a good and sufficient bond in the sum of Five Thousand ($5000) <br />dollars, conditioned that the person faithfully observe all the laws pertaining to building, <br />plumbing, electrical and mechanical work and that the City shall be indemnified and saved <br />harmless from all claims arising from accidents and damage of any character whatsoever caused <br /> <br /> <br />
