llen~-Martin~ville Depaqmen; of Social Servic~,s <br />Buildine and Ground~ Status Report <br /> <br />This status report relates to an evaluation of the building leased by the Hen.ry- <br />Martinsville Department of Social Services, 20 East Church Street, Martinsvillc, <br />Virginia, hereinafter referred to as the facility. <br /> <br />This report was developed by the three (3) members ofthe Building and Grounds <br />Committee, Henry-Maninsville Board of Social Services, three (3) employees <br />representing individual floors of the facility and the Director of the Hemy-Maninsville <br />Department of Social Services. <br /> <br />This report utilizes written comments from employees, personal observations, <br />photographs and a requested fire inspection evaluation of the facility. <br /> <br />This report is not intended in any way to supersede the need for a professional facility <br />assessment evaluation. However, due to stringent budgetary constraints it is submitted <br />for review and discussion by other involved parties i.e.- the Hemy-Martinsville Board of <br />Social Services, the Facility Assessment Committee, local and state officials and state <br />legislators. <br /> <br />This report covers two (2) major areas ofconcem: apace and safety. <br /> <br />Space <br /> <br />The Hemy-l~Lartinsville Department of S.,o~l Services, hereinafter referred to ns the <br />department, has 91 f~ll-time. 3 seasonal, and 2 grent-f~nded positions. <br /> <br /> <br />
