The award is presented for ~oh calendar <br />year and is presented at a City Council meeting in February. which conunemorates 'Law Enforcement <br />Week.' Seven members of the DepartmenL appointed by the Chief. serve on the selecUon committee. <br />Nominations for the award are accepted from any member of the Department. including selection <br />committee members.
