October 26, 2004 <br /> <br />224 <br /> <br />Consultation with legal counsel regarding specific legal matters <br />requiring the provision of legal counsel, as authorized by <br />Subsection 7. <br /> <br />At the conclusion of this Closed Session, each returning member of Council <br /> <br />certified that (1) only public business matters exempt from open meeting requirements <br /> <br />were discussed in said Closed Session; and (2) only those business matters identified <br /> <br />in the motion convening the Closed Session were heard, discussed, or considered <br /> <br />during said Session. Upon return to Open Session, Council took the following actions: <br /> <br />1. Council Member Ferrill moved to appoint Julie Bryant, of 102 <br />Farmington Court, and Matthew Johnson, of 1109 Mulberry Road, <br />to one-year student terms on the Transportation Safety <br />Commission, ending June 30, 2005; the motion was duly seconded <br />and carried by the following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - <br />0; Yeas (5) - Clark, Cobbe, Ferrill, Reynolds, Roop; Nays (0) - <br />None. <br /> <br />There being no further business to come before Council during their regular <br /> <br />meeting, upon motion by Vice Mayor Reynolds, duly seconded, by unanimous vote, <br /> <br />Mayor Cobbe declared the meeting adjourned at 9:00 P.
