223 <br /> <br />October 26, 2004 <br /> <br />Sec. 4-29. Definitions. <br /> <br />The term "public dance" shall, for the purposes of this article, mean <br />any dance to which the public is admitted, which is held and <br />conducted with an intention to realize a financial benefit, directly or <br />indirectly, including those dances held for nonprofit or charitable <br />organizations. The term "public dance" shall include any dance for <br />which an admission fee is charged, without regard to the time or <br />manner such fee is collected, and shall include also any dance for <br />which no admission fee is charged but which is held incidentally to <br />or concurrently with any event or activity for which an admission fee <br />is charged or which is held or conducted with an intention to realize <br />a financial benefit. As used in this article, the term "person" shall <br />mean any entity, individual, firm, corporation, society, clubs, <br />association, or organizations, sponsoring or conducting any public <br />dance; the term "person" shall not apply to public schools located <br />within the City. <br /> <br />D.
