July 13, 2004 Council considered establishing a schedule and location for FY05 City Council Neighborhood Focus Meetings. Council Member Roop moved to adopt the following schedule, with meetings being held in Council Chamber; the motion was duly seconded and carried by the following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Clark, Cobbe, Ferrill, Reynolds, Roop; Nays (0) - None: September 28, 2004 - Southside; December 14, 2004 - Druid Hills/Uptown; March 22, 2005 - Northside/Chatham Heights; and June 28, 2005 - Westside. Council considered business from the floor. John Sanders, of 308 Starling Avenue, spoke regarding economic development. Council Member Roop moved to approve the following Consent Agenda items; the motion was duly seconded and carried by the following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Clark, Cobbe, Ferrill, Reynolds, Roop; Nays (0) - None: A. Accept and appropriate into the General Fund for the FY04 budget the following: 1. $268 in Revenue into 01101917 442401 - Categorical Other State/Confiscated Assets/Police for Expenditure in 01311085 506078 - Police/State Assets Forfeitures 2. $2,341 in Revenue into 01101917 442701 - Categorical Other state/Fire Programs for Expenditure in 01321102 506110 - Fire/Fire Programs B. Schedule a public hearing for July 27, 2004, on a request to amend Appendix B, Zoning Ordinance, of the City Code, by adding Section XXV, Historical Districts Council considered the need to meet in Closed Session.
