Council reviewed a new policy prohibiting non-governmental use of Council Chamber. Matthew Hankins, Public Information Officer, offered alternative meetings spaces of Rooms 132 and 207 and the front steps. Council recommended signage be placed outside of Council Chamber to state non-usage. Council Member Ferrill moved to approve the following Consent Agenda items; the motion was duly seconded and carried by the following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Cobbe, Dallas, Ferrill, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None: Accept and appropriate into the General Fund for the FY04 budget the following: 1. $8,362 in Revenue into 01101916 434106 - Categorical State/Commonwealth Attorney/Equipment for Expenditure in 01221082 506104 - Commonwealth Attorney/Non-Capital Equipment 2. $4,340 in Revenue into 01101917 442401 - Categorical Other State/Confiscated Assets/Police for Expenditure in 01311085 506078- Police/State Asset Forfeiture 3. $766 in Revenue into 01101917 442402 - Categorical Other State/Confiscated Assets/Commonwealth Attorney for Expenditure in 01221085 506105 - Commonwealth's Attorney/State Asset Forfeiture Accept and appropriate grand funds into the School fund for the FY04 budget. Set a public hearing for May 25, 2004, to receive applicants for one three-year appointment beginning July 1, 2004 to the City's School Board. There being no further business to come before Council during their regular meeting, upon motion by Council Member Ferrill, duly seconded, by unanimous vote, Mayor Teague declared the meeting adjourned at 10:12 P. M.
