As a paid and volunteer fireman, I have served the City of Martinsville for the past twenty-five years. In my adult and teenage years I have been committed to this community in volunteer services in church, SChools, fire and, not the least, my family. Each oppommity, a challenge, yet rewarding, I served with distinction, contributing positively to each organization. My personal qualifications have allowed me to'be productive, yet sensitive to the needs of my co-workers. I was raised here in the city with a strong Protestant work ethic. My parems taught me to treat all individuals with respect and kindness, a philosophy that I have tried to follow alt my life. My high expectations, coupled with mv sense of fair play, create a positive working relationship that is highly productive.
