Mayor Teague <br />stated that the federal grant of FOCUS requires a 25 percent local match. Council <br />Member Dallas moved to revise the contribution to FOCUS to $5,800; the motion was <br />duly seconded and carried by the following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; <br />Yeas (5) - Cobbe, Dallas, Ferrill, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None. Council Member <br />Dallas moved to increase the Social Services budget by $2,057 to allow for salary <br />raises effective December 1, 2003. Council Member Ferrill moved to table the main <br />motion until later in the meeting; the motion was duly seconded and carried by the <br />following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Cobbe, Dallas, Ferrill, <br />Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None. Council delayed action regarding the Blue Ridge <br />Airport Authority and requested additional financial information.
