May 8, 2003 <br />Armory to schedule reservations, totaling $4,900; discontinuation of the Colt League <br />practices at Hooker Field, totaling $2,287; and a 1.5 percent reduction in park <br />maintenance, totaling $1,500. The total savings is $24,350, or approximately six <br />percent. Council Member Dallas moved to reduce the Leisure Services budget by a <br />total of ten percent; the motion was seconded. Council Member Ferrill moved to table <br />the main motion and request Administration to assess the impact of a ten percent <br />reduction to the Leisure Services budget; the subsidiary motion was duly seconded and <br />carried by the following vote, with all members voting: Vote 4 - 1; Yeas (4) - Cobbe, <br />Ferrill, Roop, Teague; Nays (1) - Dallas. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before Council during their work <br />session meeting, upon motion by Council Member Ferrill, duly seconded, by unanimous <br />vote, Mayor Teague declared the meeting adjourned at 1:23 P.
