Enclosure <br /> <br />City of Martinsville, Virginia <br />Ordinance No. 2003-13 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND, REVISE, AND REORDAIN ZONING ORDINANCE <br />SECTION II, DEFINITIONS, OF THE CITY OF MARTINSVILLE, VIRGINIA <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARTINSVILLE, <br />VIRGINIA, in regular session assembled September 23, 2003, that the City of <br />Martinsville Zoning Ordinance, Section II, Definitions, be amended, revised, and <br />reordained to read as follows: <br /> <br />A subordinate building/structure detached from, but located on the same <br />lot as the principal building, the use of which is incidental and accessory <br />to that of the principal building. Carports, garages, utility sheds, and <br />similar facilities customarily associated with residential living are <br />permitted, but only after a building permit for the accessory building has <br />been issued. Such facilities shall not be larger than the dwelling. No <br />shipping containers, trailers, manufactured or mobile homes, vehicle <br />bodies or similar containers shall be used for any of these purposes. <br /> <br />All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be <br />and the same are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br />Johnathan B.
