Mileage: 32,074
Hours: 5,287

Purchase Price: $126,000, new
Current Replacement Cost: $275,000 (Rescue Pumper)

Condition: Poor

Departmental Function: reserve fire engine

History: Engine 1 l0 was purchased to serve as the primary response pumper for Station 1
and was sent to Station 2 (Southside) following the addition of Engine 111. When Engine
112 was purchased, Engine 112 replaced Engine 110 at Station 2. At that point, Engine 110
was moved to the role of water supply at Station 1. Then, Engine 114 was purchased with
the intentions of being a reserve engine when Engine 109 experienced a blown engine. Due
to Engine 114 being a superior truck compared to Engine 1 I0, Engine 110 was moved to
reserve status in 2001, where it remains today.

Current Problems: The truck has an excessive oil leak, and the fire pump needs rebuilding.
The truck is not expected to last long, especially if it runs on the front line for a significant
time period.

Engine 111

Model: E-One Rescue Pumper, Cyclone chassis
Manufactured Date: 1993
Pump: Hale 1,250 gpm, single stage
Tank: 500 gal.
Generator: Onan
Mileage: 28,464
Hours: 1,401

7
