Government Television, the City Council is responsible for the <br />content of the programming. Thus, any person wishing to bring a <br />matter to Council's attention under this Section of the agenda <br />should: (1) come to the podium and state their name and address; <br />(2) state the matter that they wish to discuss and what action they <br />would like for Council to take; (3) limit their remarks to five <br />minutes; and (4) refrain from making any personal references or <br />accusations of a factually false and/or malicious nature. <br /> <br />VII. CONSENT AGENDA: <br /> <br />Set a Public Hearing for September 9, 2003 to consider the sale of <br />City-owned real property consisting of 0.3 acres in the Martinsville <br />Industrial Park in Henry County to Tire Energy Corporation. <br /> <br />Set a Public Hearing for September 9, 2003, on a Local Law <br />Enforcement Block Grant of $15,353 to purchase equipment for the <br />Police Department. <br /> <br />VIII. Comments by Members of City Council. <br /> <br />IX. <br /> <br />Consider, in Closed Session, in accordance with the Code of Virginia, <br />Chapter 21--Freedom of Information Act, Section 2.1-344(A)--Executive <br />or Closed Meetings, the following: <br /> <br />A. Appointments/Reappointments to various Boards/Commissions, as <br /> authorized by Subsection 1. <br /> <br />t. Board of Zoning Appeals <br /> {Two expired three-year terms ending 9/11/2006) <br /> <br />2. Coalition for Economic Progress <br /> (One one-year term ending -/-/2004) <br /> <br />3. West Piedmont Disability Services Board <br /> (One unexpired three-year term ending 2/26/2005) <br /> <br />B.
