George Lester, President of The Lester Group, spoke in favor of a private-public economic development effort and encouraged a timely response. Dean Johnston, of 1018 Mulberry Road, encouraged a collaborative and open-minded effort to pdvate- public economic development. Ron Epperly, of 1704 Meadowview Lane, suggested to Council to raise the meals tax to 6 percent and not to raise the residential refuse collection fee. He stated that it would generate $200,000 in revenue and reduce the burden on the City taxpayer. Chris Koumparakis, of 1772 Farmbrook Road, Ridgeway, suggested the need for watersheds and/or land use controls on the adjacent properties to the City Reservoir.
