167 March 25,2003 Accept and appropriate into the General Fund for the FY03 Budget the following: 1. $1,000 in Revenue into 01100908 480410 - Donations/Fire Department for Expenditure in 01322105 506004 - EMS/Medical Supplies Council Member Ferrill presented the "$5 Million Community" award from the Virginia Mainstreet Organization, which he received on behalf of the City on March 19, 2003. The Martinsville Uptown Revitalization Association received an award, also. Mayor Teague announced the death of Ronnie Minter, former Commissioner of the Revenue. Council considered the need to meet in Closed Session. In accordance with Section 2.1-344 (A) of the Code of Virqinia (1950, and as amended) and upon motion by Council Member Dallas, duly seconded, and by unanimous recorded vote, Council convened in Closed Session, for the purpose of discussing the following matters: Ao A prospective business or industry or expansion of an existing business or industry where no previous announcement has been made of the business' or industry's interest in locating or expanding its facilities in the community, as authorized by Subsection 5.
