Chris Koumparakis, of 1772 <br />Farmbrook Road, Ridgeway, expressed concerns regarding the School System. <br />Council requested that a letter be sent to Dr. Ira TroIlinger, Superintendent, to address <br />his concerns. <br /> <br /> Leon Towarnicki, Director of Public Works, presented the recycling report for <br />period November 1,2002 - January 31,2003. <br /> <br /> Council Member Ferrill moved to adopt the following Consent Agenda item; the <br />motion was duly seconded and carried by the following vote, with all members voting: <br />Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Cobbe, Dallas, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None: <br /> <br /> A. Accept and appropriate into the General Fund for the FY03 Budget <br /> the following: <br /> 1. $2,875 in Revenue into 01100908 480401 - <br /> Donations/Police for Expenditure of $2,611 in 01311085 <br /> 506007 - Police/Repair and Maintenance Supplies and $264 <br /> in 01311085 506104 - Police/Non-Capital Equipment. <br /> <br /> Vice Mayor Roop complimented the City and its employees for the work done <br />during the winter storms. <br /> <br /> Council considered the need to meet in Closed Session. In accordance with <br />Section 2.1-344 (A) of the Code of Virginia (1950, and as amended) and upon motion <br />by Council Member Ferrill, duly seconded, and by unanimous recorded vote, Council <br />convened in Closed Session, for the purpose of discussing the following matter: <br /> <br /> A. Appointments/Reappointments to various Boards/Commissions, as <br /> authorized by Subsection 1. <br /> 1. Anchor Group Home Commission <br /> 2. Clean Community Board <br /> 3. Transportation Safety Commission <br /> B. A personnel matter under the jurisdiction of the City Council, as <br /> authorized by Subsection 1. <br /> <br /> <br />
