January 28, 2003 <br /> <br />was duly seconded and carried by the following roll call vote, with all members voting: <br />Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Cobbe, Dallas, Ferrill, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None: <br /> <br /> BI= IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF TH£ CITY OF <br /> MARTINSVlLL£, VIRGINIA, in ~egular session assembled January <br /> 14, 2003, that the City of Martinsville ZOning Ordinance, Section <br /> VIII, Special Use Procedure and Section XV, Off Street Parking and <br /> Loading, be amended, revised, and reordained and a new <br /> ordinance section, Section XIV, Landscaping Standards, be added, <br /> all to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Section VIII, Special Use Procedure and Section XV, Off Street <br /> Parking and Loading and new ordinance section, Section XIV, <br /> Lahdscaping standards, ordinance text as given herein <br /> <br /> All ordinariCes or parts o~ ~i-diri~bs in conflict with the provisions <br /> of this ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed. <br /> (Attachment A) <br /> <br /> Council considered adopting revisions to the City's F¥03 budget. Earl B. <br />Reynolds, Jr., City Manager, recommended revisions in the current year's budget that <br />will reduce expenditures by $t~6,711 and incCease revenue by $305,672. Wade <br />Bartlett, Director of FinanCe, aSSisted With the recommendations and presented the <br />financial report for month ending December 31, 2002. Council and Administration <br />discussed the accuracy of the financial numbers and Council's preference in regards to <br />content and presentation format. Vice Mayor Roop moved to adopt the budget <br />revisions as presented [Attachment B]; the motion was duly seconded and carried by <br />the following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Cobbe, Dallas, <br />Ferrill, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None. Council Member Cobbe moved to authorize <br />the City Manager to pay one-half of the budgeted contributions to the non-mandatory <br />outside agencies immbdiately; the motion w~ duly seconded and carried by the <br />following vote, with all mbrnbers Ydting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Cobbe, Dallas, Ferrill, <br />Roop, Teague; Nay~ (0) - None. <br /> <br /> <br />
