Is a donation from the <br /> Marjorie Sutton Memorial Foundation. <br />Council Member Cobbe requested a review of the agenda format, expressing <br /> <br />concern that items, such as the financial report and economic development report, were <br /> <br />at the end when the audience number often decreases. <br /> <br />Council considered the need to meet in Closed Session. In accordance with <br /> <br />Section 2.1-344 (A) of the Code of Virginia (1950, and as amended) and upon motion <br /> <br />by Vice Mayor Roop, duly seconded, and by unanimous recorded vote, Council <br /> <br />convened in Closed Session, for the purpose of discussing the following matter: <br /> <br />A prospective business or industry or expansion of an <br />existing business or industry where no previous <br />announcement has been made of the business' or industry's <br />interest in locating or expanding its facilities in the <br />community as authorized by Subsection 5. <br /> <br />Council recessed and convened as the Martinsville Redevelopment and Housing <br /> <br />Authority at 11:55 P. M. <br /> <br />The Authority considered the need to meet in Closed Session. In accordance <br /> <br />with Section 2.1-344 (A) of the Code of Vir.qinia (1950, and as amended) and upon <br /> <br />motion by Authority Member Dallas, duly seconded, and by unanimous recorded vote, <br /> <br />the Authority convened in Closed Session, for the purpose of discussing the following <br /> <br />matter: <br /> <br />A prospective business or industry or expansion of an <br />existing business or industry where no previous <br />announcement has been made of the business' or industry's <br />interest in locating or expanding its facilities in the <br />community as authorized by Subsection 5. <br /> <br /> <br />
