November 12, 2002 A. Accept and appropriate in the General Fund for the FY03 Budget the following: 1. $100 in Revenue into 01100908 480410 Donations/Fire Department for Expenditure in 01321102 506014 Fire DepartmentJMiscellaneous Expense. Is a donation from the Marjorie Sutton Memorial Foundation. Council Member Cobbe requested a review of the agenda format, expressing concern that items, such as the financial report and economic development report, were at the end when the audience number often decreases. Council considered the need to meet in Closed Session. In accordance with Section 2.1-344 (A) of the Code of Virginia (1950, and as amended) and upon motion by Vice Mayor Roop, duly seconded, and by unanimous recorded vote, Council convened in Closed Session, for the purpose of discussing the following matter: A prospective business or industry or expansion of an existing business or industry where no previous announcement has been made of the business' or industry's interest in locating or expanding its facilities in the community as authorized by Subsection 5. Council recessed and convened as the Martinsville Redevelopment and Housing Authority at 11:55 P. M. The Authority considered the need to meet in Closed Session.
