June 12,2001 <br /> <br /> 1. Blue Ridge Regional Library Board <br /> 2. Drug Task Force of Martinsville-Henry County <br /> 3. Piedmont Regional Community Services Board <br /> 4. Patrick Henry Development Council Board <br />B. Personnel matters under the jurisdiction of the City Council, as <br /> authorized by Subsection 1. <br />C. Personnel matters under the jurisdiction of the City Manager, as <br /> authorized by Subsection 1. <br /> <br /> At the conclusion of this Closed Session, each member of Council certified that (1) <br />only public business matters exempt from open meeting requirements were discussed in said <br />Closed Session; and (2) only those business matters identified in the motion convening the <br />Closed Session were heard, discussed, or considered during said Session. Upon return to <br />Open Session, Council took the following action: <br /> <br /> A. 2. Council Member Dallas moved to appoint Earl Coy Preston, Jr., of <br /> 513 Fayette Street, to a four-year term on the Drug Task Force <br /> Board of Martinsville-Henry County, expiring June 30, 2005. The <br /> motion was duly seconded and carried by the following vote: Vote <br /> 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Crabtree, Dallas, Ferrill, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) <br /> - None. <br /> There being no further business to come before Council during their regular meeting, <br /> upon motion by Council Member Ferrill, duly seconded, by unanimous vote, Mayor Crabtree <br /> <br />declared the meeting adjourned at 11:32 P.
