Council Member Roop moved to support Henry County's position on 1-73; the <br />motion was duly seconded and carried by the following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 <br />- 0; Yeas (5) - Crabtree, Dallas, Ferrill, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None. <br /> Council discussed the Blue Ridge Regional Library Board composition. Mayor <br />Crabtree stated that Henry County's proposed FY2001-2002 budget cuts the library budget <br />by over $200,000 due to this issue. Council asked Ellen Bell, Director, how this budget cut <br />would impact services. She replied that it would probably cause the closing of all County <br />branches and have some impact on the main library in Martinsville. Council Member Ferrill <br />moved to increase the Henry County representation to six by not appointing one of two City <br />positions expiring June 30, 2005, and transferring one City position currently held by a <br /> <br /> <br />
