March '13, 2001 <br /> <br />3. $60,850 transfer from Fund Balance into Revenue <br /> 40100908-462101. <br />Accept and appropriate $150,000 from the Governor's <br />Opportunity Fund into Revenue 16101917-416610 - <br />Governors Opportunity Fund/Nationwide for $30,000 into <br />Expenditure 16582372-503140- Construction Services and <br />$120,000 into Expenditure 16582372-508160 - Construction <br />in the Capital Reserve Fund of the City's FY2000-2001 <br />Budget. <br /> <br />Council considered authorizing the City Manager to execute a Notice of Award <br /> <br />accepting Carnell Construction Corporation's bid of $101,441 for site development of <br /> <br />Rives Road Industrial Park for expansion of Nationwide Homes. Vice Mayor Teague <br /> <br />moved to authorize such; the motion was duly seconded and carried by the following roll <br /> <br />call vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Crabtree, Dallas, Ferrill, <br /> <br />Roop, Teague; Nays (0)- None. <br /> <br />Council considered the need to meet in Closed Session. In accordance with <br /> <br />Section 2.1-344 (A) of the Code of Vir.ainia (1950, and as amended) and upon motion <br /> <br />by Council Member Dallas, duly seconded, and by unanimous recorded vote, Council <br /> <br />convened in Closed Session, for the purpose of discussing the following matters: <br /> <br />Appointments to vadous Boards/Commissions, as authorized by <br />Subsection 1. <br />1. Community Criminal Justice Board <br />2. Clean Community Commission <br />3. Transportation Safety Commission <br />4. Drug Task Force, Inc. of M-HC <br />5. Board of Appeals <br />Consultation with legal counsel, as authorized by Subsection 7. <br /> <br />At the conclusion of this Closed Session, each member of Council certified that <br /> <br />(1) only public business matters exempt from open meeting requirements were <br /> <br />discussed in said Closed Session; and (2) only those business matters identified in the <br /> <br /> <br />
