Howell, II, Fire Department; Henry M. Hall, Public Works <br />Department; Deborah Lynn Rakes, Police Department <br /> <br />Council considered recognizing nominees for the 2001 First-Quarter Service <br /> <br />Excellence Award. Ead B. Reynolds, Jr., City Manager, announced the nominees and <br /> <br />presented plaques and mugs to T. J. Dunbar, Public Works; Bryant Byrd, Public Works; <br /> <br />Bobby Setlift, Public Works; and Danny Worrell, Public Works. City Manager Reynolds <br /> <br />announced Mr. Setlift as the winner and presented him with a $50 check. <br /> <br />Council considered recognizing the 2000 Quarterly Winners eligible for the 2000 <br /> <br />Annual Service Excellence Award. City Manager Reynolds recognized Jimmy <br /> <br />Blankenship, Electric; Coretha Gravely, Police; and Lane Shively, Public Works. He <br /> <br />announced Lane Shively as the winner and presented him with a $500 check. <br /> <br />Council considered a presentation by the Martinsville-Henry County Chamber of <br /> <br />Commerce to the City for the City's booth having been awarded "Best in Show" for Fast <br /> <br /> <br />
