This property lies on the east side of Brookdale Street near the intersection of Sprucedale Street. There is no record of an official abandonment of this paper roadspace that borders the PB&J property on both sides. The petitioner is requesting this abandonment in order to cleanse the title to this property. No opposition was expressed to this request. Should this abandonment be granted the City is responsible for the survey and combination of this street space with the current property of PB&J, and for the recordation in the City Clerk's Office. Following discussion of the matter, the Planning Commission voted unanimously (3-0 with one abstention) to recommend to City Council that the proposed abandonment be granted.
