This property
lies on the east side of Brookdale Street near the intersection of Sprucedale
Street.

Finance
656-5 i 42 Director
656-5143 Accounting
656-5 146 Billing
656-5118 FAX

Fire
656-5325
656-5 i 18 FAX

Housing Services
656-5190
656-5118 FAX

F/man Resources
656-5181
656-5280 FAX

Police
656-5300
656-5306 FAX

Public Works
656-5154
656-5280 FAX

At the Public Heating it was noted the road space was a part of the sale of the
property recently sold by the Martinsville Redevelopment and Housing
Authority to PB&J, LLC. There is no record of an official abandonment of
this paper roadspace that borders the PB&J property on both sides. The
petitioner is requesting this abandonment in order to cleanse the title to this
property. No opposition was expressed to this request. Should this
abandonment be granted the City is responsible for the survey and combination
of this street space with the current property of PB&J, and for the recordation
in the City Clerk's Office.

Following discussion of the matter, the Planning Commission voted
unanimously (3-0 with one abstention) to recommend to City Council that the
proposed abandonment be granted.

The Planning Commission respectfully submits the above recommendation for
Council's further consideration.,

656-5354
656-5356 FAX

Recreation
656-5140
656-5280 FAX

Senior Services
656-5260
656-5280 FAX

Sincerely,

Jean P.
