Enclosure #1-c 277 <br /> <br />December 12, 2000 <br /> <br />A regular, semi-monthly meeting of the Council of the City of Martinsville, <br /> <br />Virginia, was held on December 12, 2000, at Druid Hills Elementary School, beginning <br /> <br />at 7:30 P. M., with Mayor Mark Crabtree presiding. Council Members present included: <br /> <br />Mark A. Crabtree, Mayor; M. Gene Teague, Vice Mayor; and Council Members Bruce <br /> <br />H. T. Dallas, J. Ronald Ferrill, and Terry L. Roop. <br /> <br />Following the invocation by Council Member Ferrill, Mayor Crabtree welcomed <br /> <br />everyone to the meeting. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Teague moved to approve the Minutes of the November 14, 2000, <br /> <br />meeting as amended; the motion was duly seconded and carded by the following vote, <br /> <br />with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Crabtree, Dallas, Ferrill, Roop, Teague; <br /> <br />Nays (0)- None. <br /> <br />Mayor Crabtree recognized the following City employees receiving service <br /> <br />awards from October to December 2000: <br /> <br />30 years - Bobby McKinley Branch, Sheriff's Office <br />25 years - Janice Burney Lawson, City Manager's Office; Eugene <br />C.
