272 <br />November 28, 2000 <br /> <br /> Homes when the survey is prepared detailing the description of the <br /> land to be conveyed. <br /> <br /> The Authority considered the need to meet in Closed Session. In accordance <br />with Section 2.1-344 (A) of the Code of Virginia (1950, and as amended) and upon <br />motion by Authority Member Roop, duly seconded, and by unanimous recorded vote, <br />the Authority convened in Closed Session, for the purpose of discussing the following <br /> <br />matters: <br /> <br /> A. Possible acquisition of real property for public use, as authorized by <br /> Subsection 3. <br /> <br /> At the conclusion of this Closed Session, each member of the Authority certified <br />that (1) only public business matters exempt from open meeting requirements were <br />discussed in said Closed Session; and (2) only those business matters identified in the <br />motion convening the Closed Session were heard, discussed, or considered during said <br />Session. Upon return to Open Session, the Authority took no action. <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Authority during their regular <br />meeting, upon motion by Vice Chairman Teague, duly seconded, by unanimous vote,- <br /> <br />Mayor Crabtree declared the meeting adjourned at 11:49 P. M. Council reconvened. <br /> At the conclusion of this Closed Session, each member of Council certified that <br /> <br />(1) only public business matters exempt from open meeting requirements were <br />discussed in said Closed Session; and (2) only those business matters identified in the <br />motion convening the Closed Session were heard, discussed, or considered dudng said <br />Session. Upon return to Open Session, Council took the following actions: <br /> <br /> A. Appointments to vadous Boards/Commission, as follows: <br /> 1. Council Member Roop moved to appoint Johnathan B. <br /> Phillips of 1609 Mulberry Road to complete an unexpired four-year <br /> term on the Patdck Henry Community College Board, ending June <br /> <br /> <br />
