Vice Mayor Teague moved to authorize the City Manager to execute such; the
motion was duly seconded and carried by the following vote, with all members voting:
Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Crabtree, Dallas, Ferrill, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None.

Council considered an update from the Administration on a request from Judge
Frank Greenwalt regarding the need for additional space by the General District Court.
Judge Greenwalt stated, "The Clerk's office is inadequate. David Reeves presented
the proposed project and stated, "1 anticipate completing the Clerk's portion by March
and the total project by May. It all has to be done and in a sequence." Council Member
Dallas stated, "1 would have appreciated other options. We could have added onto the
building, perhaps." Judge Greenwalt stated, "This is not the ideal plan, but we're in dire
straits."

Wade Bartlett, Director of Finance, presented the financial report for month
ending October 31,2000.

Council considered the Consent Agenda. Council Member Dallas moved to
accept and appropriate the following into the FY2000-2001 Budget:
