In addition to the foregoing, each premises <br /> may have one (1) additional wall sign not to exceed twenty (20) <br /> square feet in size which may have illumination consisting of neon as <br /> part of the sign proper or to which illumination is directed by the <br /> use of shaded electric lights, tubes or flood lamp bulbs, but not be <br /> construed to allow illumination from within the sign as part of the <br /> sign proper. For each premises, in addition to other permitted <br /> signs, one (1} movable, non-illuminated and non-attached accessory <br /> sign having a maximum height of three (3) feet and a maximum sign <br /> area of six (6) square feet may be located in pont of each prentises <br /> during normal business hours and must he removed at the end of <br /> each business day. Such sign shall be of an A-frame or stand type <br /> construction, shall be adequately weighted to prevent wind <br /> movement, and may not impede vehicular or pedestrian traffic. This <br /> shall not be construed to include or allow a sign painted on a <br /> building. In lieu era separate sign, letters shall be engraved in the <br /> surface of a building or separate carved letters may be attached to <br /> the face of a building and signs on marquees and awnings as defined <br /> in Section H are permitted. Where buildings have a setback of <br /> twenty-five (25) or more feet, one non-illuminated ground sign per <br /> prentises may be substituted for a projecting sign. Such ground sign <br /> shall not be greater than twenty-five (259 square feet, no larger than <br /> five (5) feet in height, and shall he located a minimum often (10) <br /> feet from the right-of-way. Ground signs shall have a twelve (12) <br /> square foot L~erimeter that is landscoped and properly maintained. <br /> Ground sig;x~ shall he era permanent nature, whereby changeable <br /> letters are strictly prohibited. The maximum number of signs <br /> allowed per premises within the C-2 district is three (3) signs. The <br /> total area of all signs within the C-2 district may not exceed three <br /> (3) square feet for each lineal foot ofbuildiugfrontage. <br /> <br />C -3 General Commercial <br /> a. Any sign permitted in the RP-I, C-I, and C-I A Districts. <br /> <br /> b. Any sign permitted in the C- L4 District; with ground signs having <br /> a maximum height of thirty (30)feet above the street or lot, <br /> whichever is higher in elevation. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br /> c. One accessory ground sign per premises, not exceeding 550 <br /> square feet on each face per each individual street frontage. (See <br /> Section X/I., Paragraph G.2. for total maximum sign area for all <br /> signs.) <br /> <br /> d. A non-accessory ground sign, provided the sign: <br /> <br /> 1. Maintains a minimum distance of twent~five (25)feet from <br /> the front street line or a minimum distance equal to the <br /> overall height of the sign, whichever is greater; <br /> <br /> 2. Erected a minimum of one hundred (100) feet from a <br /> permanent building structure or another non - accessory <br /> sign. When a previously conforming non - accessory sign is <br /> made nonconforming due to construction or location of a <br /> building within the minimum one hundred (100) foot <br /> distance, then the sign shall be removed within two (2) <br /> calendar years from the first day of January following the <br /> date of occupancy of the building. <br /> <br /> 3. Has a maximum area of five hundred and fifty (550) square <br /> feet on each face, and, <br /> <br /> 4. Has a maximum overall height of thirty (30) feet above the <br /> street or lot, whichever is the higher in elevation. <br /> <br />Signs - B - I Business District <br /> a. Any signs permitted in the C - 3 District are permitted in the <br /> B- 1 District. <br /> <br />M- 1 Manufacturing District <br /> a. ~4ny signs permitted in the C - 3 District are permitted in the <br /> M-I District. <br /> <br />M-2 Manufacturing District <br /> a.
