Consider adoption of a Resolution authorizing the Chairman of the <br />Martinsville Redevelopment & Housing Authority to execute a deed <br />conveying 15 acres more or less in Rives Road Industrial Park to <br />Nationwide Homes. (See Enclosure #7) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: We recommend that Council adopt this Resolution <br />as prepared. <br /> <br />NOTE: The Martinsville Redevelopment and Housin~ <br />Authority will adjourn and reconvene as City Council. <br /> <br />IX. <br /> <br />Consider authorizing the City Manager to execute a Performance <br />Agreement between Nationwide Homes and the City concerning <br />Nationwide's expansion plan and desire to acquire 15 acres more <br />or less in Rives Road Industrial Park. (See Enclosure #8) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: This Performance Agreement is required as a part of <br />the funding through the Governor's Opportunity Fund. We <br />recommend that Council authorize the City Manager to execute it <br />as prepared. <br /> <br />Consider an update from the Administration on a request from <br />Judge Frank Greenwalt regarding the need for additional space by <br />the General District Court. <br /> <br />XI.
