Consider adoption of a Resolution authorizing the Chairman of the <br />Martinsville Redevelopment & Housing Authority to execute a deed <br />conveying 15 acres more or less in Rives Road Industrial Park to <br />Nationwide Homes. (See Enclosure #7) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: We recommend that Council adopt this Resolution <br />as prepared. <br /> <br />NOTE: The Martinsville Redevelopment and Housin~ <br />Authority will adjourn and reconvene as City Council. <br /> <br />IX. <br /> <br />Consider authorizing the City Manager to execute a Performance <br />Agreement between Nationwide Homes and the City concerning <br />Nationwide's expansion plan and desire to acquire 15 acres more <br />or less in Rives Road Industrial Park. (See Enclosure #8) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: This Performance Agreement is required as a part of <br />the funding through the Governor's Opportunity Fund. We <br />recommend that Council authorize the City Manager to execute it <br />as prepared. <br /> <br />Consider an update from the Administration on a request from <br />Judge Frank Greenwalt regarding the need for additional space by <br />the General District Court. <br /> <br />XI. STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />A. Financial report for month ending 10/31/2000. <br /> (See Enclosure #9) <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />A. Accept and appropriate the following into the City's FY 2000- <br /> 2001 Budget: <br /> <br />$36 from Carilion for physical examination reimbursements <br />for the Fire Department into Revenue 01100908-482901- <br />Miscellaneous for Expenditure 0 1321102-503111--Physical <br />Exams. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />$1,155 from a Federal grant for the Schools into ~evenue <br />18102926-418231--Vocational Ed / Carl Perkins Grant for <br />Expenditure 73001003 -568150--HS Vocational <br />Program/Equipment. <br /> <br />Consider, in Closed Session, in accordance with the Code of <br />Virginia, Chapter 21--Freedom of Information Act, Section 2.1- <br />344(A)--Executive or Closed Meetings, the following: <br /> <br /> <br />
