Possible disposition of publicly-held real property, as <br /> authorized by Subsection 3. <br /> <br />7:00 P.M. - REGULAR MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />Invocation - Council Member Terry L. Roop <br /> <br />Economic Recovery Plan Update. <br /> <br />Consider approval of the minutes of City Council's meeting of <br />January 11, 2000. (See Enclosure # 1) <br /> <br /> \ <br /> <br />Business from the floor. <br /> <br />Consider authorizing the City Manager to execute a Deed convey- <br />ing City-owned property known as Lot 34 on Railroad Street being <br />sold to Bernie F. Gray, Jr. (See Enclosure #2) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: As you will recall, on November 23, 1999, Council <br />conducted a public hearing declaring this parcel as surplus City- <br />owned property and available for sale. Mr. Bernie F. Gray, Jr., has <br />offered to purchase the property for $7,100. We recommend that <br />Council authorize the City Manager to execute this Deed, selling <br />the property, as prepared by the City Attorney. <br /> <br />Conduct a public hearing and consider adoption of a Resolution on <br />a TEA-21 Transportation Enhancement Act application for Phase <br />IV funding for a multi-purpose trail connection to link J. Frank <br />Wilson Park and the proposed Virginia Museum of Natural History <br />to the Uptown Rail Trail project. (See Enclosure #3) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: We recommend that Council adopt 'the Resolution <br />as prepared. <br /> <br /> <br />
