Crabtree <br /> <br />Recognition of City Retirees: <br />Chief of Police David J. Edwards - May 1973 - October 1999 <br />Assistant Chief of Police Charles E. Long -November 1973 - October 1999 <br /> <br />II. Recognition of City employees nominated for the quarterly Service Excellence <br /> Award and announcement of the quarterly winner. (See Enclosure #1) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: Two City employees have been nominated by their peers to <br />receive this Award for this quarter. Customer Service Representative Brenda <br />Prillaman and City Manager Earl Reynolds will announce the winner for the <br />quarter as selected by the Customer Service Committee. <br /> <br />III. Consider approval of the minutes of City Council's meetings of June 8, June 22 <br /> and September 14, 1999. (See Enclosure #2-a, #2-b and #2-c) <br /> <br />IV. Conduct the Town Meeting. (See Enclosure #3) <br /> <br />V, <br /> <br />Consider approval, on first reading, of Ordinance No. 99-9 amending Chapter <br />13--Offenses-Miscellaneous, Article I--In General, Section 13-15--Prohibited <br />Trick or Treat Activities, Subsection (b) of the City Code. (See Enclosure #4) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: During your last Council Meeting there was some discussion <br />about changing the observance of Halloween to Saturday, October 30, rather than <br />having Trick or Treaters out on Sunday evening, October 31. There was also <br />some discussion about designating a time limit for Trick or Treat activities. The <br />City Attomey has prepared an Ordinance amending the City Code to allow for <br />this. <br /> <br /> <br />
