<br />The regular semi-monthly meeting of the Council of the City of Martinsville,
<br />
<br />Virginia, with Mayor J. Frank Wilson presiding, was held in the Council
<br />
<br />Chamber, City Hall, Tuesday, June 22, 1965, beginning at 7:30 P.M., all
<br />
<br />members being present, viz., Mayor J. Frank Wilson; Dr. F. T. Renick,
<br />.
<br />
<br />Vice-Mayor; Harry L. Boaz; Thomas J. Burch; and E. E. Stone.
<br />
<br />After the invocation, Council approved as recorded the minutes of its regular
<br />
<br />meeting held June 8, 1965.
<br />
<br />Pursuant to duly-advertised public notice, Council conducted a public hearing
<br />
<br />on the City Manager's recommended budget for the fiscal year ending June 30,
<br />
<br />1966. It was noted that no one appeared to inquire of--or object to--any item
<br />
<br />in said proposed budget. By a recorded vote, Council unanimously adopted said
<br />
<br />budget with revisions therein as directed by Council, of which the following
<br />
<br />appropriation ordinance is a summary:
<br />
<br />AN ORDINANCE MAKING APPROPRIATIONS OF SUMS OF MONEY FOR ALL NECESSARY
<br />EXPENDITURES OF THE CITY OF MARTINSVILLE, VIRGINIA, FOR ITS FISCAL YEAR
<br />ENDING JUNE 30, 1966.

<br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Martinsville, Virginia,
<br />that the following sums of money be and are hereby appropriated by
<br />funds for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1966, from fund sources of
<br />estimated revenue as follows:
