<br />,'lI 1''''' $ <br />., I : <br />........, " .\.., <br /> <br />MONDAY <br /> <br />APRIL 1, 1968 <br /> <br />Pursuant to Section 5 of Chapter 2 of the Code of the City of Martinsville, <br /> <br />Virginia, a special and duly-called meeting of the Council of the City of <br /> <br />Martinsville, Virginia, with Mayor Fred T. Renick, M.D., presiding, was <br /> <br />held Monday, April 1, 1968, in the Council Chamber, City Hall, beginning <br /> <br />at 7:30 P.l1., for the purpose of discussing and/or acting upon a proposed <br /> <br />"Job Classification and Pay Scale" plan being prepared for City employees by <br /> <br />Yarger & Associates, Inc., Falls Church, Virginia. All members of Council <br /> <br />were present, viz., Mayor Fred T. Renick, M.D.; Vice-Mayor E. E. Stone; <br /> <br />Harry L. Boaz; W. Donald Hartford; and Francis T. West. <br /> <br />Mr. James O. Yarger, of Yarger & Associates, Inc., appeared before Council <br /> <br />and discussed the status of the "Job Classification and Pay Scale" study <br /> <br />currently in process, after which Council authorized Mr. Yarger (and his <br /> <br />firm) to proceed with the completion of said study. <br /> <br />Council was adjourned. <br /> <br /> <br />of Council <br />
