Consider appointment of three citizens to the newly formed Steering <br />Committee relative to the J. Frank Wilson Park. <br /> <br />2. Conduct a public hearing and consider approval of the sale of City-owned real <br />property consisting of 238.366 acres in the Reed Creek District of Henry <br />County to Jesse Cahill and authorizing the City Manager to execute a deed <br />conveying said property as noted. <br /> <br />Work Session <br /> <br />3. Hear an update from the Martinsville-Henry County Economic Development <br />Corporation. <br /> <br />4. Presentation and discussion of the quarterly neighborhood focus report for <br />the Southside area. <br /> <br />5. Discussion of the recent facility study for the Henry County-Martinsville <br />Social Services and the Health Department. <br /> <br />6, Discussion regarding granting an approximate 40 x 60 foot easement along <br />the south side of Clearview Drive to Virginia and Mid-Atlantic Broadband. <br /> <br />7. Discussion regarding granting a sewer easement over the City's Firing Range <br />property to Blue Ridge Aquaculture. <br /> <br />8. Discussion of a request from the Planning Commission on behalf of Dona M. <br />Whitfield, Alfred & Leora Hampton, Rudy Hampton, James E. & Lena Millner, <br />Sr. and James E. & Jewel Millner, Jr., to rezone 1104, 1106, 1108, 1109, <br />1110, 1112, 1114, and 1115 Fishel Street (Tax Map 47(01)00/02,03 & <br />47(02)00/3A-3F), from M-2 Industrial to R-9 Residential and to amend the <br />Proposed Land Use Map to indicate these parcels as Medium Density <br />Residential rather than the present designation of Industrial. <br />
