Consider adoption. on first reading. of Ordinance No. 2006-2 amending <br />Section 24-6 Archery Season for Deer of the City Code. <br /> <br />Work Session <br /> <br />3. Presentation concerning the upcoming "Martinsville is Learning" event in <br />Uptown. <br /> <br />4. Hear an update from the Martinsville-Henry County Economic <br />Development Corporation <br /> <br />5. Discussion of two options available for collection of revenue previously <br />provided by sale of city decals. <br /> <br />6. Discussion of Resolution to be adopted approving the West Piedmont <br />Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan. <br /> <br />7. Discussion of Resolution to be adopted in support of ioining the National <br />League of Cities "Partnership for Working Toward Inclusive <br />Communities" program. <br /> <br />8. Discussion of the submission of an application by the Police Department <br />for a $2,000 National Consumers League Stipend. <br /> <br />9. Consider approval of the minutes of City Council's meeting of March 28, <br />2006. <br /> <br />10. Consider adoption of a Resolution recognizing April as Fair Housing <br />Month and expressing the City's pledge to provide equal housing <br />opportunities for all citizens. <br />
