Roop <br /> <br />Pledge to the American flag <br /> <br />Consider approval of the minutes of City Council's meeting of April 26, <br />2004. (See Enclosure #1) <br /> <br />Consider authorizing the Mayor to execute the revised Consortium <br />Agreement of the West Piedmont Workforce Investment Area. (See <br />Enclosure #2) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: Mrs. Becky Aydlett of the local WIA office will attend the <br />meeting to explain these revisions and answer any questions that <br />Council may have. <br /> <br />Discussion of Ordinance No. 2004-8, amending certain sections of Article <br />III, Pubhc Dances of Chapter 4 of the City Code. (See Enclosure #3) <br /> <br />Hear public comment and consider adoption of an EMS Transport <br />Program and authorizing the Interim City Manager to execute a RSAF <br />grant application for the purchase of two (2) ambulances and associated <br />equipment. <br /> <br />V. Business from the Floor <br /> <br />This section of the Council meeting provides citizens the <br />opportunity to discuss matters, which are not listed on the printed <br />agenda. In that the Council meetings are broadcast on Martinsville <br />Government Television, the City Conucil is responsible for the <br />content of the pr. ogrammlng. Thus, any perso, n wishing to bring a <br />matter to council's attention under this Section of the agenda <br />should: (1) come to the podinm and state their name and address; <br />(2) state the matter that they wish to discuss and what action they <br />would like for Conncil to take; (3) limit their remarks to five <br />minutes; and (4) refrain from making any personal references or <br />accusations of a factually false and/or malicious nature. <br /> <br /> <br />
