(See Enclosures #1-a and #l-b) <br /> <br />II. Presentation of a Proclamation declaring April 28, 2004 as Martins~e/ <br /> Henry County TRIAD/S.A.L.T. Day in the City of Martinsville. (See <br /> Enclosure #2) <br /> <br />III. Presentation of a Proclamation declaring May 3-9, 2004 as Public <br /> Employee Recognition Week in the City of Martinsville. (See Enclosure <br /> #3) <br /> <br />IV. Presentation of a Proclamation declaring the month of May as Fitness & <br /> Healthy Weight Awareness Month in the City of Martinsville. (See <br /> Enclosure #4) <br /> <br />V. Consider a request by the Virginia Municipal League to submit <br /> nominations for membership on the VML 2004-2005 Policy Committees. <br /> (See Enclosure #5) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: Even though this is an election year, VML requests that <br />we complete this fol'm by May 7th even ff we have to revise it later. <br />Membership for 2003 was: <br /> Environmental Quality - Joseph R. Cobbe <br /> Finance - J. Ronald FeITill <br /> General Laws - M. Gene Teague <br /> Human Development and Education - Bruce H.T. Dallas <br /> Transportation - Terry L. Roop <br /> <br />Policy Committees will meet in July in Richmond. Exact date and <br />location will be furnished later. <br /> <br /> <br />
