Ronald Ferrill <br /> <br />Pledge to the American flag <br /> <br />Consider approval of the minutes of City Council's meetings of March 26 <br />and April 1, 3 and May 13, 2003. (See Enclosures #l-a, l-b, 1-c and l- <br />d) <br /> <br />II. Review financial report for month ending 04/30/03. (See Enclosure #2) <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />IV. <br /> <br />VI. <br /> <br />VII. <br /> <br />Consider adoption of a Resolution approving amendments to the City's <br />Section125 Benefits Plan that would allow City and School employees to <br />pay cancer and intensive care voluntary benefits under a Flexible <br />Spending Account (FSA) provision and to reflect the City's intent to <br />comply with the Standards for Privacy issued pursuant to Health <br />Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA). (See Enclosure #3) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: Iris Read, Human Resources Director, will be at the <br />meeting to answer any questions you might have. <br /> <br />Conduct a public hearing relative to proposed real property tax increase <br />resulting from the recent real property reassessment. <br /> <br />Consider providing an additional $2,057 for the Henry-Martinsville <br />Department of Social Services in the FY04 budget. This represents the <br />City's share of a proposed 2.25% pay increase effective December 2003. <br /> <br />Set a Public Hearing for June 10, 2003, on the City's Budget for Fiscal <br />Year 2004 and establishing tax rates for same. <br /> <br />Consider a request from the Martinsville Uptown Revitalization <br />Association to implement a charge for vendors to participate at the <br />Farmer's Market. (See Enclosure #4) <br /> <br /> <br />
