Consider approva/, on second reading, of Ordinance 2002-10 to amend <br /> Zoning Ordinance Section XIII, Business and Manufacturing Districts. <br /> (See Enclosure #2) <br /> <br />III. Reconsider a request by Carl deHart to be designated as Archivist for the <br /> City of Martinsville. <br /> <br />IV. Consider a presentation concerning summer youth program guidelines <br /> now in effect under the Workforce Investment Act as opposed to the old <br /> JTPA guidelines. <br /> <br />COMMENTS: Council Member Dallas requested information concerning <br />these guidelines as they relate to employment for youth during the <br />summer months. Becky Aydlett of the local WIA Office and Sherman <br />Saunders of the Pittsylvania County Community Action Agency will <br />attend your meeting to make this presentation and answer any questions <br />that you might have. <br /> <br />V. Conduct a Public Hearing on a Local Law Enforcement Block Grant of <br /> $20,688 for the Police Department. <br /> <br />COMMENTS.'. This is a requirement of the Grant.
