Gene Teague <br /> <br />Pledge to the American flag <br /> <br />Consider approval of the minutes of City Council's meetings of February <br />12 and 26. <br /> <br />COMMENTS: Johnathan will get the minutes to you for review prior to <br />the meeting. <br /> <br />Recognition of City employees receiving service awards from January <br />through March 2002. (See Enclosure #1) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: These employees will not be at the meeting, but the Mayor <br />will read the list. <br /> <br />Recognition of Nominees for the 2002 First Quarter Service Excellence <br />Award and announcement of Quarterly winner. (See Enclosure #2) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: These employees have been invited to the meeting. <br /> <br />Recognition of 2001 Quarterly Winners eligible for the 2001 Annual <br />Service Excellence Award and announcement of Annual Winner. (See <br />Enclosure #2) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: These employees have been invited to the meeting. <br /> <br />Consider a presentation by representatives of First Baptist Church of <br />Martinsville of teddy bears to the Fire and Police Departments. <br /> <br />COMMENTS: First Baptist Church recently held a drive to collect teddy <br />bears for the Fire and Police Departments that they can give to young <br />children who have been traumatized by an accident, fire, family <br />disturbance or similar situations. Ms. Frances Milstead, along with <br />other representatives from the Church, will attend the meeting to make <br />this presentation. <br /> <br /> <br />
