Roop <br /> <br />Consider approval of the minutes of City Council's meeting of October 23 <br />and November 1,2001. (See Enclosure #1-a and #l-b) <br /> <br />Business from the floor. <br /> <br />Special recognition by the Fire Department of City employees who have <br />completed special training.' <br /> <br />COMMENTS: Clarence Monday will be present to recognize and present <br />plaques to Ted Anderson, Bob Phillips, John Potter, and Tommy Cook <br />who recently completed a Paramedic Course and Brad Beam who <br />completed an extensive training program for his duties as Deputy Fire <br />Marshal. Brad will be the first employee of the Department to complete <br />this five-week course. <br /> <br />Consider adoption of a Resolution amending the Rules and Regulations <br />Governing the Use of Beaver Creek Reservoir and the Adjacent Areas for <br />Recreational Purposes. (See Enclosure #2) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: We recommend that these amendments be approved on <br />second reading by adoption of the Resolution. <br /> <br />Consider authorizing the Mayor to execute an Economic Development <br />Services Agreement with Henry County. (See Enclosure #3) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: To take advantage of the global market experience and <br />industry contacts of Mr. Wayne Sterling, the new Director of the Henry <br />County Office of Commerce, the .City Manager has developed a Service <br />Agreement, which is being recommended for City Council's approval. <br />The Service Agreement provides for an annual payment to Henry County <br />of $100,000, which is available in this year's General Fund Undesignated <br />Fund Balance. <br /> <br /> <br />
