Dallas <br /> <br />Consider, in Closed Session, in accordance with the Code of Virgi- <br />nia, Chapter 21--Freedom of Information Act, Section 2.1-344(A)-- <br />Executive or Closed Meetings, the following: <br /> <br />A. Appointments/Reappointments to various Boards/Commis- <br /> sions, as authorized by Subsection 1. <br /> <br />1. Community Criminal Justice Board <br /> (One two-year term ending 2/28/01) <br /> <br />2. Clean Community Commission of M-HC <br /> (One three-year term ending 2 / 28/03) <br /> <br />3. Martinsville Transportation Safety Commission <br /> (One unexpired term ending 12 / 31 / 2001) <br /> <br />B. Possible disposition of publicly-held property, as authorized by <br /> Subsection 3. <br /> <br />Consider approval of the minutes of City Council's meetings of <br />January 23, February 8, 13 and 20, 2001. <br />(See Enclosure #4-a, #4-b, #4-c and #4-d) <br /> <br />Business from the floor. <br /> <br />Conduct a Public Hearing and consider adoption of an Ordinance <br />to abandon a 30' x 500' right-of-way known as Townes Street <br />located west of Franklin Street and north of Commonwealth Boule- <br />vard, as requested by Commonwealth Boulevard Associates, LLC. <br />(See Enclosure #5) <br /> <br />COMMENTS: The Planning Commission has recommended appro- <br />val of this abandonment. We recommend that Council adopt the <br />Ordinance as prepared. <br /> <br /> <br />
