In respome to an invitation issued by Council, President B. L. Also, in accordance with announced intentions of the Council, a Public Hearing was held on a proposed Fire Code for the City of 1,13rtin..sville as presented to the COllllCil March 24, 1953. After a reSUT,:e of the nroposcd Fire Code by Vice-Mayor Craig, and there being no )Jublic representation at the mectinc, Council placed said prop03ed Coce on first rea6ing for further consideration at the Council's next rer:;ular meeting.
