<br />4 <br /> <br />MONDAY <br /> <br />JANUARY 15, 1962 <br /> <br />A special and duly-called meeting of the Council of the City of Martinsville, <br /> <br />Virginia, with Mayor J. Frank Wilson presiding, was held in the Couneil Charrfr:Jer, <br /> <br />City Hall, Monday, January 15, 1962, at 12:45 P.M., all members of Council being <br /> <br />present, viz., Mayor J. Frank Wilson; Vice-Mayor Fred T. Renick; Thomas J. Burch; <br /> <br />E. E. Stone; am Harry L. Boaz. <br /> <br />r--. <br /> <br />The purpose of this meeting was to consider and act upon bids received January 11, <br /> <br />1962, at the invitation of Mr. George W. Brown, Director of Public Works, for the <br /> <br />construction of approximately 3,260 linear feet of sewer line, comisting of two <br /> <br />lines identified as "6-1-A" (beginning near the rear of Modern Furniture Compa:qy- <br /> <br />and crossing Route 220 North near the City's corporate limits) and "6-1-B" <br /> <br />(beginning from the north side of West Fayette Street and extending across Beaver <br /> <br />and Harris Streets to a point east of Modern Furniture Comparw and across Route 220 <br /> <br />North), on the south s ide of Memorial Boulevard North.
