<br />4 ~,t. ) <br />.J, ' <br /> <br />TUESDAY <br /> <br />NOVEMBER 2, 1982 <br /> <br />A special meeting of the Council of the City of Martinsville, Virginia, duly-called by <br /> <br />action taken by said Council at its regular meeting held Tuesday, October 26, 1982, was <br /> <br />held Tuesday, November 2, 1982, in the Council Chamber, City Hall, beginning at 2:30 P.M., <br /> <br />for the purpose of studying, reviewing and/or approving certain substantive changes <br /> <br />proposed in the City Code (1971 edition), now in the process of being recodified for <br /> <br />publication by Municipal Code Corporation, Tallahassee, Florida. All members of Council <br /> <br />were present, viz., William C. Cole, Jr., Mayor and Presiding Officer; L. D. Oakes, Vice- <br /> <br />Mayor; Henry C. Reed; Eliza H. Severt; and Francis T. West. <br /> <br />Upon completing its review of these changes, as set forth in Municipal Code Corporation's <br /> <br />final editorial conference memorandum, Council approved said changes and authorized the <br /> <br />proceeding with the final development of the code revision. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br /> <br />Clerk of Council <br />
