<br /> At the conclusion of this Closed Session, each member of Council certified that
<br />(1) only public business matters exempt from open meeting requirements were
<br />discussed in said Closed Session; and (2) only those business matters identified in the
<br />motion convening the Closed Session were heard, discussed, or considered during .said

<br /> - Crabtree, Dallas, Haskell, Roop, Teague' Nays (0) - None.
<br /> 4. Vice Mayor Teague moved to reappoint J;;mes D. Coleman,
<br /> Jr., of 1010 Sheraton Court, to a four-year term on the
<br /> Patrick Henry Development Council Board, expiring June 30,
<br /> 2004; the motion was duly seconded and carried by the
<br /> following vote, with all members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5)
<br /> - Crabtree, Dallas, Haskell, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None.
<br /> 5. Council Member Haskell moved to reappoint Jean P. Wilson,
<br /> of 627 Fayette Street, and Timothy D. Martin, of 913
<br /> Mulberry Road, to four-year terms on the Planning
<br /> Commission, expiring June 30, 2004; the motion was duly
<br /> seconded and carried by the following vote, with all
<br /> members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Crabtree, Dallas,
<br /> Haskell, Roop, Teague; Nays (0) - None.
<br /> 6. Council Member Roop moved to reappoint Lafayette Jones,
<br /> of 501 Second Street, to a three-year citizen term, expiring
<br /> June 30, 2003, and Council Member-Elect J. Ronald Ferrill
<br /> to a four-year term, expiring June 30, 2004, on the West
<br /> Piedmont Planning District Commission Board; the motion
<br /> was duly seconded and carried by the following vote, with all
<br /> members voting: Vote 5 - 0; Yeas (5) - Crabtree, Dallas,
